apple is sneaky with its advertisements

beautiful artwork in a gallery window

nyc is obsessed with dogs

this sweet man on the subway was bringing home a "Gore-may Pizza" to his kids for halloween

this girl was a washing machine. in nyc, the kids have to go from shop to shop to trick or treat, unless you live in a really big building. isn't that sad?

sneaking pics of pink hair on the subway

i made friends with a rabbit

this is "george clooney". ok, whatever. he kept yelling out to the people in the parade by what their costumes were -- cucumber! mullet! slim jim! -- as if he knew them personally. we fell in love with him immediately.

marty, on the left, was a "Manpire". his friend that doesn't speak and whose name i forgot is on the right as one of the many mexicans we saw in poncho and sombrero.

eat your heart out noel

and then the most amazing thing happened: winged cupid came in

he had the perkiest little buns i've ever seen

then this guy came in and we were terribly frightened
 blogging in bryant park

lia as ab-fab patsy

andrea tempts fate as she dances near the ledge. this is her second greatest fear -- falling onto the subway tracks -- after her first -- knocking all of her teeth out on the way down.

help me! no, help me!

japanese lunch at cake-o, the cutest cafe with the cutest name with the cutest staff and the cutest piano on mulberry ever

mike, here, has my dream job at the U.S. lomography headquarters in brooklyn

nyc is obsessed with cupcakes. lia and andrea devour one of magnolia's $40k a week in profit offerings.

as we eat our cupcakes, directly behind us is this couple ending their date with a romantic movie in the park. they are so cute and cuddly and romantic, we think to ourselves, until we notice they are watching SCARFACE on his laptop.

cake-o, the vintage chihuahua purchased in a west village pet shop and named after the japanese cafe on mulberry, relaxes in his neck pillow on the way home.
